Nick,

There are different formats for feeds so the trick is finding the one that works in your reader. First off, drop the "http" because while that may be part of web address it is never part of a feed address. Try these feed formats, which are valid for Astroblogging:

feed://astroblogging.net/main/?feed=rss2
feed://feeds.feedburner.com/AstroBlogging

Let me know if either of these addresses work for you.

Thanks for reading!

I already subscribe to a healthy number of RSS feeds + agree they're great. But I can't seem to get your feed as I recognise none of the providers - normally they add to my IE feed list. Am I missing something or do I have to subscribe to one of the provders you list at http://feeds.feedburner.com/AstroBlogging?

Hi Jeffrey,

Geez, even the newest version? Maybe this is your punishment for taking Matt Mullenweg's name in vain. Or 3.3 is doomed!

Did you try the first suggestion: flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches? Did you try updating the plug-ins again? (Worth a try.)

Hope you work things out soon. Squarespace! Bite your tongue!

I had to deactivated every single plugin and test one by one. Turns out it was due to not having upgraded all my plugins. But I just upgraded to the latest 3.3.x and I'm having the same problem I did before (not being able to add new widgets). Almost makes me want to move to squarespace.

So sorry to hear of your problems with Invesp! Keep at it. Sometimes it does take them a while to get a problem solved.

Sorry, only just seen your reply! I have submitted my blog twice now to Invesp and they just don't add it. I have no idea why. I even emailed them and they sent me a password reset but still didn't add my blog! grrr. I've just submitted it again, will wait another week and email them if it still doesn't appear.

Thanks, Leah!

Did you submit your blog to Invesp? I recently submitted Astroblogging and True Crime and Astrology and they had me listed the next day. Those blogs aren't on the top 25 yet, but I'm working on it.

Well done on getting your pagerank back Beth! I was gutted when my site was stripped to 3 and very relieved when it changed back to 4 a couple of months later!
I've also just been on a 'need to improve Alexa rank' mission. I just installed a widget on my site. I don't like the idea of offering a tool bar to my readers - it feels a bit pushy somehow but I'll see. I'm monitoring the widget for a month to see if there is any obvious improvement.
The only problem is for some reason Alexa is saying my site is unclaimed even though I claimed it and it's listed as claimed in my account. I've emailed them so hopefully they will sort it out.
I'm still trying to get onto Invesp!
I monitor my page rank, stats and things like Alexa and Technorati every month. I find it motivating to see figures improving and also it's useful to gauge what works and doesn't work.
